Have you been a good girl this year?
Santa has been busy this year and wants to bring each and every one of you something special.
I want to wish you a safe and happy season and hope that Santa brings you all the joy and love you deserve. Take some time just for you and send your pictures of you special time together with your friends. Our red hats are perfect this time of year! Wear them proud and remember…..we are sisters and together we have strength for each other. Lee Pryke, Supreme Goddess.
LADIES……Remember…a layer of dust protects the Wood beneath it.
‘A house becomes a home when you can write ‘I love you’ on the furniture.’
I used to spend at least 8 hours every weekend making sure things were just perfect – ‘in case someone came over’.
Finally I realized one day that no-one came over; they were all out living life and having fun!
NOW, when people visit, I don’t have to explain the ‘condition’ of my home.
They are more interested in hearing about the things I’ve been doing while I was away living life and having fun.
If you haven’t figured this out yet, please heed this advice.
Life is short. Enjoy it!
Dust if you must…
But, wouldn’t it be better to paint a picture or write a letter, bake cookies or a cake and lick the spoon or plant a seed,
ponder the difference between want and need?
…with wine to drink, rivers to swim and mountains to climb, music to hear and books to read, friends to cherish and life to lead.
Dust if you must, but there’s not much time …the world’s out there with the sun in your eyes, the wind in your hair, a flutter of snow, a shower of rain. This day will not come around, again.
And when you go – and go you must – you, yourself will make more dust!
MAKE IT A GREAT DAY – HAVE FUN AND CELEBRATE SISTERHOOD!
I want to thank all of the ladies who have continued to support our Sisterhood over the years and am happy to say although smaller than originally due to many ladies busy with life, we are still here and have transformed into a elite group of lovely ladies who still see the value of getting together as girlfriends and playing dress up.
We do not require that you invest in insurance to keep your group going because if we are all girlfriends, we know each other and watch each other when we go out to have fun. The most important thing to remember is knowing each other and if there is a health issue everyone in the group should know about it. That is really the most important information you should know so that if something goes array, you know who to contact for help and assistance.
Everywhere we go has insurance in the event of a fall or accident. We all hopefully have home insurance and so we are covered for the unseen.
Forget about the fear of insurance because someone in your circle of friends might feel so inclined to sue you! I ASK WHAT IS THAT ALL ABOUT!
Know each other, trust each other, be true to the code of GIRLFRIENDS. Have fun and play dress up and celebrate each moment together because we never know what tomorrow will bring and today is the most important time.
We are NOT the Red Hat Society. We have no rules. We simply gather together and remember what it was like to be a little girl and laugh, smile, cry and most of all…….care about each other and support each other through the good and the bad times.
We are the SISTERHOOD and in being so we are about each other. So take care of each other and respect each one of your girlfriends as equals. Invite all women to come out and have fun with your groups and events. Do Not make a statement that you MUST belong to any group or organization, keep the doors open to meet new friends and expand your relationships with all women of all ages.
We keep our prices the same for membership and are a NOT FOR PROFIT organization. I as the Supreme Goddess realized years ago that this was not a place to make money but a place to keep going for the women across the country that wanted to feel they BELONGED to something bigger.
PLEASE KEEP IN TOUCH WITH US, SUPPORT US BY RENEWING YOUR SMALL MEMBERSHIP OF $45. A YEAR FOR YOUR ENTIRE CHAPTER OR GROUP. SEND IN YOUR STORIES AND YOUR PHOTOS AND WE WILL CONTINUE TO POST THEM ON OUR BLOG AND KEEP YOU INFORMED.
We have recently received a list from a member of the RHS and saw that most of the events were closed to their members alone. I will not post them because I personally feel it defeats the true meaning of SISTERHOOD.
So ladies, please send us your upcoming events if you would like to have other groups in your areas come and play. We rely on your emails to keep us up to date.
Sincerely, Your Supreme Goddess, Lee Pryke.

With summer behind up and fall in the air, Christmas will soon be here and what a great time of the year for RED. This year has been a challenge for most of us and so at this time of year when giving is on our minds, let us think about what is the most special thing to give.
Our friendship to another is high on the list. Hand made crafts and little cards to remind someone how special they are is inexpensive but a hobby many have forgotten with the internet and email. So why don’t we all take some time to make a card and send it out to our friends.
If we have a friend who is not feeling so well, why not make arrangements to cook dinner for her or help her with the laundry. Maybe we could ask her over to watch a chick flick with popcorn and wine.
Gifts from the heart are remembered and cherished for years to come. So don’t worry if you cannot buy something expensive because a gift from the heart is so much more important.
This picture is a Christmas tree decorated with little ornaments made from all my red hat friends in 2004. It was fun to make ornaments and send them out to each other. Maybe we could do this again.
ANGELS EXIST BUT SOMETIMES SINCE THEY DON’T ALL HAVE WINGS, WE CALL THEM FRIENDS!
We are women of attitude. Attitude is something that gives us the power within, to be who we want to be and how we want to be. Remembering that sisterhood and girlfriends are the most important thing to our female relationships, we gather together and commit to helping each other laugh, love, celebrate, and cry.
Sisters give a shoulder to lean on and never judge each other for our likeness, difference, or uniqueness.
We are mothers, daughters, and grandmothers. Nurturing and supporting one another through the good times and bad is what it means to be a TRUE SISTER of CELEBRATION.
Our hope is that we gather many women to our blog and our Sisterhood and look forward to your comments and stories that will make us laugh, feel good, maybe cry tears of joy or sadness, but most of all knowing there is a place where we all feel safe to be who we are.
Thank you for dropping by.
