Lee has known the meaning of Sisterhood from a very early age and celebrated the true meaning of ‘let the little girl inside come out to play…’, at a very young age when her mom, Margaret Pryke, would make sure that they always wore bonnets and gloves when they dressed up in public and pretty little dresses with ribbons and bows. She instilled in Lee the importance of never losing your identity and standing strong for what you believe in. She encouraged her to go after her dreams and to never stop dreaming. That carries on to this day.
Lee could be seen every where she went, proudly wearing her hats of beige, yellow, black, and yes red, and speaking on behalf of women of all ages.
Lee has been an advocate in women’s issues and bringing women together in positive ways for many years. She founded the first Rape Crisis Centre in Windsor, Ontario and spoke to schools about the importance of protecting oneself. She has been in the news, on the radio and volunteered with many associations giving back to her community.
In 2004 Lee started a network for women across Canada to come together and talk about their fun times by joining and starting groups in their own home towns where they would commit to coming together for tea, martini’s, theatre or simply a fun girlfriend night. She called it the Sisterhood of Celebration and it is still ongoing today.
In both 2006 and 2007 Lee was nominated for the Women of Distinction Award in her community which she felt was quite an honour.
Lee has continued her passion for caring and loving others and after she survived heart failure at the end of 2008 she began her personal quest for well being and living each and every day like it was her last.
She is an inspiring writer, author, consultant for those seeking ways to improve their self love. She teaches the Laws of the Universe and has received her Masters in Psychology and Shambala-Reiki Master.
Lee says she has a PhD in Life Experience and is willing lovingly to share her story if it benefits another to see that anything can be possible if you believe in yourself.

Lee’s love of wearing hats and feeling the power of being a woman of diversity has earned her the tag in her community as the ‘hat lady’ and when not wearing one, people ask WHY?
Hi Lee …. is this our new “CSC” site and is the other one now defunct?

For now Elaine this is our blog until we decide the value of running the other website.
For the time the larger website is in sleeping mode. We will try to keep the blog updated and hopefully women will begin to post or send their information in as to what they are doing to have fun.
