The first week in June I got a visit from two wonderful ladies. They are from the Leathertown Lassies and came to renew their membership and have tea and as it turned out chocolate! What a perfect combination. They sent me some photos of an event where all had a great time and dressed to the nines. Here they are:

Here is our 2008 Celebration for Mothers and Daughters together for a Mothers Day weekend of fun for all.
I wanted to write today on how wonderful it is to be able to be in a position to meet new people every day. Yesterday, after I sent out an email about an article this writer wrote that I was impressed with, I called to tell her I did so and to say how we need to have uplifting stories in the local newspaper of people helping people. We got to talking about things and she is now coming to our FUNVENTION and wants to write an article in the paper about it. Funny how things go. I told her that I only called to say how nice it was to read the article and make sure I had permission to re print it and NOT to talk about me and my organization, but she was more than happy to hear about how the Sisterhood of Celebration is opening up to ALL women of all ages and how we don’t have to wait till we are 50 and wear a red hat to have fun and celebrate living. It was a good conversation and one that set up my day for joy and success.
